Refund and Returns Policy
Returns
If you need to return an item, please contact us immediately via email at info@silverscreamhalloween.com with your order number and reason for the return. We will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions for returning your item(s). Claims for damaged, missing, or incorrect items must be reported within 3 days of receiving your order.
To be eligible for a refund, the following conditions must be met:
- Returns must be received within 30 days of the original order date.
- Items returned for a refund will incur a 15% restocking fee.
- Items must be new, unused, and in their original packaging, including all accessories.
- Items must be accompanied by the original packing slip.
- Items must be returned using a shipping method that includes tracking.
- All shipping costs for the return must be pre-paid by the customer.
Incorrect Addresses and Undeliverable or Refused Packages
If a package is undeliverable due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, it will be subject to a 15% handling and restocking fee. Undeliverable orders include those with incomplete or incorrect addresses, instances where the customer is unavailable for delivery, or if the order is refused by the customer.
Returnable Items with Conditions
The following items can be returned only if they are in their original, unopened packaging. Items will be rejected if they have been worn, used, or altered in any way. If the item is used on a pet, your face, feet, hair, or intimate body areas and has been removed from the package, it is non-returnable:
- Masks
- Costumes, shoe covers and boot tops
- Wigs, beards, facial hair, eyelashes, or any other artificial hair
- Items in sealed blister packaging
- Makeup and cosmetic items
- Teeth and fangs
- Prosthetics and facial appliances
- Any item used in the mouth
- Pet costumes
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned under any circumstances:
- Closeout or clearance sale items
Refunds
Refunds are issued for the price of the merchandise only and will be credited to the original payment method. We do not refund shipping or handling charges in either direction, except in cases where we made an error in fulfillment by shipping the wrong item.
You can expect to receive your refund within 2-3 weeks of us receiving the returned item(s). Please note that during October, processing times may take an additional 5 to 7 days so we can verify all return criteria has been met.
